On this page you'll find links to a couple of short stories I wrote. This summer I participated in a flash fiction contest called The Last Author Standing. We were given prompts and challenged to write a small piece (romance, of course) between 800-1000 words. I had so much fun that I expanded them a bit beyond the 1000 words they started as. I also ended up winning the contest! So, I've decided to share the stories.

Freedom -- The prompt for this one was a list of words I had to incorporate into the story. Those six words were: Velvet, Strip, Pleasure, Candle, Scarf, Provoke

Can't Fight This Feeling -- If you haven't already guessed, the prompt for this story was a song. We were given four choices. I chose REO Speedwagon's "Can't Fight This Feeling", because it spoke to me.
